Weekly update (Week 5 ’25)
As Chinese New Year draws closer, I will be taking a break on Wednesday to celebrate with my family. However, if possible, whenever there are setups available, I will still take the trades as they are part of my edge. If I were to miss such trades, it will be fine too, as it is impossible to catch every single setup. Life has to go on, and it’s critical to manage unrealistic expectations for such instances.
Also, I will be taking a break for the next 2 weeks as I will be on vacation, and therefore, there will be no Weekly Market Forecast until Week 7 ’25 (18 – 22 Feb).
Every Sunday, I take the time to analyze the markets by reviewing key fundamental news and events, both upcoming and those that transpired in the previous week. A resource I often refer to for a concise summary is Marc Chandler’s insightful blog, which provides a great overview of market happenings.
Additionally, I use tools like Myfxbook’s Forex Economic Calendar to stay informed about high-impact news that could influence market movements. Here’s a summary of the major events scheduled for this week:
